Reserach Labs & Equipment Reservation

We provide intelligent solutions to energy and environmental challenges that include clean technologies acceleration, energy assessments, material characterization, educational workshops and training, consulting and technology demonstration and validation

The PREC provides research and development in energy applications, storage, modeling, and management practices. We also help new ventures to succeed in their transition into the market, plan strategy developments with the according local legislation, and provide continuing education.

Ley 103-2012 – Ley para enmendar la Ley de Medición Neta (114-2007) para aumentar la capacidad de generación máxima cualificada a cinco (5) megavatios (MW) para clientes comerciales e industriales que están interconectados a voltajes de transmisión y subtransmisión.  (Ver Ley 114-2007 para reglamentos vigentes.)

The goal of the Consortium of Hybrid Resilient Energy Systems (CHRES) is to increase workforce pipeline of graduates ready to pursue a career in DOE and other STEM related fields. CHRES directly supports DOE’s goal of building a sustainable professional and academic pipeline of next the next generation of engineers and scientist from the Hispanic community, ready to take on the challenges of current and future energy systems.
